|Recommended: YesLove Living At Tacara... — The property itself is smaller but packs a huge punch with its amenities, great staff, pet friendly environment and luxury apartments. I moved from a house after 21 years and absolutely love life at Tacara village. It’s so convenient to shopping, dining, etc. but doesn’t feel like I live in a busy city.
|Recommended: NoReady To Move Out — I’m on the bottom floor and I can hear everything my upstairs neighbors do. People are also really inconsiderate when it comes to the pet area. People aren’t cleaning up after their pets and they hang out in there not allowing other people to use the area. I had an incident where apartment staff accidentally gave maintenance the wrong unit number. They let themselves in my unit while I was sleeping...naked. There was minimal apology for the situation despite how terrible it could have turned out had I not been able to quickly determine who was in my unit. Packages are always being stolen from the lockers so I would recommend not shipping things to the complex if possible. I’m not the only person with the issues as I have friends and coworkers that also live here.

|Recommended: NoBeautiful Property, But Needs Some Work. — The apartment units themselves are nicely furnished. The kitchens and bathrooms have nice modern appliances and features. While the apartment itself is beautiful parking is a really big issue, that for some cannot be overlooked. There is no assigned parking for your unit, and there is no guest parking. Garages and covered parking are unreasonably expensive. So some nights you are left parking very far from your unit building. As for noise from above you can hear almost everything. You can hear conversations, knocking on doors, doors shutting, things you should not normally hear from an above unit. Depending on the time of day, these things might wake you up.

|Recommended: NoIt’s Like Living In A Hotel — Get ready to loose sleep Directly over a flight path, and you hear the planes frequently. And the neighbor above you, there is vibration when she walks, if you are standing, laying on the sofa, or in bed you will feel every step she takes. You hear her dishwasher and washing machine run. When she flushes the toilet it sounds like she is about to come through the floor The water from her shower runs down the wall and it’s loud. The screeching of her chairs as she pulls the chairs out and pushes them in sounds like fingers running down a chalkboard. And the loud walking is heard while you are taking a shower. Be prepared to wake up around 7-8 everyone morning because your neighbor walks around the apartment.

|Recommended: YesOverall Nice Property And Ammenities — Overall, it is a nice property with amenities and close to everything Complaints are No insulation between floor levels so very loud. You can hear everything from upstairs neighbors. Example walking sounds like stomping, vacuuming sounds like the ceiling is getting ripped off. Dropping anything sounds like a loud bang. Better job could be done with patrolling property for neighbors leaving trash on balcony. residents continuously not cleaning up after their pets in grassy areas near doors, weekly sweeping of hallways for items tracked in from garages is needed.

|Recommended: YesIt's Fine. — It is right on the approach and departure end of Alliance Airfield, so if you enjoy sleeping with the windows open on a nice night, you will have jets flying at about 600' overhead. They start at 4 10 AM. THe layout of the apartments is great, especially in the townhouses but the appliances, while stainless steel, they are pretty low end, and the refrigerator is tiny, even in the multi-bedroom apartments. The finish work of our place is pretty sad. The toilet practically faces the corner of the bathroom, and nothing is straight and plumb. The contractor said that they are allowed 1 4 of slop by contract. They used all of it The toilets do not flush like traditional toilets, and they have very little water in the bowl, you will clean them...a lot. Never seen that before. Bad choice of fixture. The staff is very good, and maintenance is second to none. The pool is very nice, though not monitored for things like glass bottles in the pool, or obnoxious drunken behavior, but if people start commenting on it, Management cracks down a bit. The trash service seems to be a bit of a challenge for them. The lease is over thirty pages long. You will need the same size team of lawyers to interpret is as they had to write it. Just be a decent neighbor, pick up after yourself, and pay your rent and all will be good. Oh and the CARES team is really good. They really do care and are very nice people.
|Recommended: YesI Love Our Townhouse. — Tacara Village has great staff that are always helpful. Maintenance requests are filled in a timely manner and everyone is polite and professional. The layouts are well thought out and provide just what we need. Close and convenient to shopping, dining and walking trails making it a great location.
